What Information Do We Collect?

When applying to be part of the Hack Labs network, we collect the following information:

Pronouns
Email address
Location (city, country)
Skills
Portfolio

If accepted as a member of the Hack Labs network, we retain this information indefinietly until you ask us to delete it. If rejected or if you withdraw, we retain it for two years after which we delete it without further prompt.

Event Attendees

As an event attendee, we collect the following information:

Name
Pronouns
Email address
Skills
Accessibility requirements

We retain it for two years after which we delete it without further prompt.

Events may have their own terms & conditions which cover the collection, storage, and processing of personal information and media usage. If there is a contradiction, this document prevails.

Queries, Complaints, and Claims

We collect or use the following personal information for dealing with queries, complaints or claims:

Names and contact details
Address
Financial transaction information
Correspondence

We only share your name and pronouns with clients we run events with. We only share the minimum required information with vendors who are required to devlier events, such as venue security teams.

We otherwise never share or sell your data to third parties.
